We don’t realize how many everyday tasks require the use of our hands and fingers to pinch, pick-up and grip until our hands become too weak to do any of those actions anymore.

Many of our forum members experience weak hands and fingers. Let’s share our best hacks and tips that help make our daily lives less frustrating.

Here are three to get started:

    • long grabber sticks that help people with a weak grasp reach and pick up things.
    • Repurpose a rolling lint brush to be a mini grabber device. They come in a variety of sizes and the handles are typically large and easy to hold onto.
    • Wrap rubber-bands around small lids to help improve friction and grip to twist the lid off. Use rubber tubing on eating utensils, pens, stylus or, any handle to help improve the object’s thickness.

What unique hacks are you using to help your weak hands perform better?
