I agree that we need to be kind and respectful to each other.  I think that sometimes we become frustrated  about things like how we are feeling, the care we are receiving from doctors, and the very slow progress of finding a cure for ALS.  Sometimes these feelings and emotions come out in our posts. We are being left behind in a world that is focused on other medical conditions.  I think we should also be appreciative of members taking their time and effort to post comments on these forums to not only try to help themselves but also to try to help and give support to others.  We are not required to do this so thank you to everyone for your contributions.

Kathy, I absolutely agree!  I hope that the forum provides a safe place for all of our members to vent, discuss challenges and let their feelings out.  I think being heard is vital when a person if faced with such overwhelming emotions.  I also hope that our community members are able to provide feedback and support. Please let me know what Dagmar and I can do to continue cultivating a positive experience for all of our members. And, thank you for all your contributions to the discussions.
