Do you have a great relationship with your primary or specialty doctor?
Did you have to change to a new more compatible doctor, or was it a good relationship right from the start? -

I am lucky that my ALS neurologist who diagnosed me, and I have a great relationship. I have seen her for 14 yrs. now. However, in the beginning, I had to establish with her and the ALS clinic team that my goals were to maintain my current strength – – not just be evaluated for symptom progression. I wrote a column about it :
