    ADAPTS transfer sling

    I have recently seen reference online to ADAPTS transfer slings. They were originally designed for emergency evaluations from airplanes and burning buildings etc.  but can be used for more every day uses like transfers to dental chairs and swimming pools. It’s basically a padded sheet with four handles. The videos make it look like it’s pretty easy for two people to transfer someone like me, 170 pounds. Has anyone had experience with these? I wonder if I could use it for a transfer from my manual chair to my power chair. Yes, we have a Hoyer but for traveling it seems like this would be easier.
