ALS – Invitation to Hear From pALS About Willingness to Accept Risk of Experimental Therapies
The FDA has accepted The ALS Association’s invitation to hear directly from people living with ALS about their willingness to accept the risk of experimental therapies that have been proven to be safe and effective. The virtual 60-minute meeting on May 25, 2021, will include speakers from across the ALS community who will make their personal appeals to FDA leaders for faster, bolder action to bring more drugs to market sooner.
The ALS Association is inviting people living with ALS to share their views about timely access to potentially beneficial therapies directly with decision-makers at the US Food & Drug Administration and industry sponsors. You are invited to share your experiences and perspectives on key topics relating to risk, benefit, and access to treatments.
