  Get Involved!

  All of us on this forum have been impacted by ALS. Some members are pALS, others are caregivers, some have lost friends or loved ones to ALS and some have a long history of ALS in their families.

  We all want a cure! We all want answers. We can all help by getting involved in some way. Check out the ALS Associations information page that explains different ways to help raise funds and awareness. There are plenty of organizations that need our support in order to help pALS and their families.

  Regardless if you are raising money by organizing your own team for a local Walk to Defeat ALS, donating to an ALS organization such as the ALS Association or Team Gleason, or if you are volunteering for a study or clinical trial, you are helping pALS and contributing to finding a cure! I’ve even found a place where you can donate your brain (both pALS and non ALS) for medical research specifically targeting ALS.
