  National Registry – What About PLS and PMA?

  What Causes ALS? National Registry Seeks Answer

   

  Primary Lateral Sclerosis (PLS) affects only upper motor neurons.

   

  Progressive Muscular Atrophy (PMA) mainly affects your lower motor neurons.

   

  In addition to ALS (which is both upper and lower motor neuron disease), should the National Registry also track PLS and PMA patients so to gather more data?
