I’m located in central Ky and purchased a recliner for my wife . She only used it a couple of times . It is currently for sale for $450. We paid almost a $1,000 for it. Hope your doing well

I buy MC COMBo chairs. They come in different widths different heights depths with lift functions heat vibrate etc. Plus they come in four piece pieces, the bottom left and right arms and back that way they’re less expensive to ship and they are very simple to slide together

I am a big guy, 300# and I can say that PRIDE makes the best recliner. It is very heavy duty and will last. I would avoid Goldenwest as they are cheaply made and do not hold up to the abuse. Best of luck!

I get mine from Med Mart. Don’t purchase the warranty though. Their warranty service sucks.

my 50 year old son was 6’3” and did not weigh over 200 when diagnosed. We got the Vivalift Power Recliner, Radiance Collection. It was the size for his long legs, it had heat, zero gravity for full recline, a smart phone connection for the new styles and we found out later there is an App for him to put on his ipad/he used a bite switch for ipad to control the positions as his lost use of his hands… He never liked a bed and up until his last few weeks that chair served him for sleeping, too. It is expensive, but better made and better size than in a usual furniture store. the company didn’t tax if the neurologist sent a script – but he used it for two years along with his power chair. Could even get an electric hoyer lift under it to transfer him in an emergency. His friend and his home health aide usually positioned him forward in the lift chair and could easily transfer him manually to the power chair. The chair served him and caregivers well. my best to you.
