I raised sheep and worked with their wool fibers to “create” things for many years.     One of my favs is felted soaps cause they last longer than a plain bar of soap, they do NOT sour nor mildew, they exfoliate off dry, dead skin cells;  but the best of all, they are not slippery!

With increased loss of dexterity, grip, etc, they are still perfect to hold in my hand (no wash cloth) and move about all areas to be washed without dropping the soapbar all the time.    I can imagine using a strip of elastic sewn on one side of the felted bar to help keep it in place when grip goes completely & still allow me to use it.
