I am getting worried too. My husband has an ALS clinic appointment in 2 weeks and I am afraid it’s going to get canceled. He hasn’t seen the ALS team in person yet. I pray we make it there ???

How do you get involved in trials? We live so far from them. I want my husband on a trial but I don’t seem to get to the right people.

Just as Amy said, my husband was the bill payer, the handyman, the person I always leaned on. Now he can’t do any of that and I know it’s very selfish for me to say but it’s all in my court now. I miss my beautiful husband. I am so thankful he is with me. I’m so scared for the future.

My husband has ALS. When I told my family and our friends, everyone was shocked but I thank God that they are all so supportive.

I find myself always watching my husband and asking him if he’s ok. I don’t want him getting aggravated with me. My heart breaks for him and all that have this horrible disease.
I wish I could get him on this forum. Jim would love it. He’s always been a talker but the ALS has attached his speech and now he hardly talks. -

Thank You for all your advice. I Do know we need to make some big decisions but you’re right. I need to approach him slowly. He really doesn’t talk to me about his illness and therefore I keep it to myself. We have a very strong marriage and a big family. We will take each day, be thankful to our Lord for giving us this day and count our blessings.
Thank You for your kindness. God Bless you and your husband. -

I love the flash briefings and I love this forum. Thank You so much. -
I love listening to the flash briefings. I have a hard time stopping my day to read so the news flash briefings fit the bill. I have my AirPod in one ear all day so I am hands free . I just wish there were more. I wish alsnewstoday was in audio too.
