ALS Patients Push for ‘Right to Try’
In this 13WHAM ABC video, meet Cindy Ling. She watched her father die from ALS and now she is living with the disease, she was diagnosed in October of 2013.
According to the ALS Association, 5,600 people in the United States are diagnosed with the disease each year.
But some patients like Cindy Ling, who risks passing ALS to her five year old son, say it’s worth the risk, it’s their right to try.
