It is only natural for us to focus on what impacts us the most. For me, I try and keep up with information regarding ALS treatment and research in the United States because that is where I live. Research for treatments and cures is always on my radar because of my family history and I know I have a genetic mutation associated with ALS. I did come across this article on our website that shows a step in the right direction (in my opinion) https://alsnewstoday.com/news-posts/2020/11/30/first-set-canadian-guidelines-for-als-care-and-management-published/

It focuses on a standard of care for pALS.  It was wonderful to see some of the information including focusing on a pALS mental health. We know that our mental health an attitude can impact our physical health!  Have you read the article?  What other “standards of care” should be included?
