ALS during a State of Emergency
2020 has been 9 months of challenges across the globe, but especially here in the United States! Right now we have 5 or 6 tropical waves developing, Hurricane Sally, wildfires in various parts of the country, flooding in parts of the country all during a pandemic!! Last year we discussed how being prepared for emergencies changed with a diagnoses of ALS for us and our families.
What have you done to prepare for a possible natural disaster in your area? What kind of events do you need to prepare for where you live? What changes to your plan have you made in the past year? Are you prepared to evacuate if needed? Has your medical team provided you with any information regarding natural disasters, the pandemic or anything emergency related?
