ALS Heros
I was reading through some old articles written about my family. Sometimes I forget how just how long ALS has been a part of our lives. My grandfather was diagnosed when I was in the 7th grade. That was about 40 years ago. At that time we had no clue how much ALS would impact our family. In spite of how many family members ALS has taken, my family has and will continue to fight ALS, raise money for research, raise awareness and participate in medical research to help find a cure. This article was written in 2008; however, it reminded me just how active my family has been in the fight against ALS. https://secure2.convio.net/alsa/site/SPageServer?pagename=STL_ALS_Across_America_Gump_Family&JServSessionIdr004=k110ut9or1.app225b
