GoFundMe pages for ALS
I have read about people starting GoFundMe pages for family members who have ALS. Does anyone have any experience with doing this and if so, was it successful?

I think its success depends on how much it gets spread around on social media. If you have a large group that shares you get much more exposure and that lends to more contributors.
I did a GoFundMe page for a family whose house burned down and they were given over 50k in about a weeks time. Another one for a child that got hit by a car did not fare as well (4k).
