  Steve Gleason has brought a great deal of attention to  the ALS cause in the New Orleans area. Not only is a football hero, but he has changed many people’s perception of ALS and how it impacts a person’s life. The slogan for the Gleason Foundation is “NO WHITE FLAGS.”  I think is positive and can do attitude is inspiring and much like many of the people I’ve met (virtually) on the ALS forums. http://www.teamgleason.org/  Check out the link to see how Steve and his foundation are making an impact.
