A good number of our new members to the ALS Forum are friends or family of a person with ALS. When the ALS patient is newly diagnosed and feeling overwhelmed by ‘what to do’ – – friends and family often feel the same way. We are all looking for answers and the ‘next steps.’ Friends and family want to offer their help, but often are not sure what is needed or what is appropriate.

Read my tips and suggestions here: How to Help Your Friends Help You

What can you add to my suggestions? Whether you are a friend, family or caregiver – – We’d love to hear from you!
