Do you recommend any particular apps for helping you live with ALS?

Back in 2010 when I was diagnosed, there were zero apps to support patients. Now, there are so many. I’m interested in learning which ones our members find helpful.

I have been using Speech Assistant AAC ($24.99 in the app store) for more than 5 years. It is much easier and much quicker than my Tobii, and its next-word predictor is also better than my Tobii. As long as I can type (even though it is only with 1 finger on each hand), I will continue to use my iPad w/Speech Assistant as my preferred method for face-to-face communication.
