Hollywood Publicist Nanci Ryder’s ALS Story

Nanci Ryder is a Hollywood publicist with A-list celebrity clients. When she was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) two years ago, her clients decided that they would help publicize Nanci for a change, helping to raise funds and awareness of the disease.

Team Nanci consisted of 250 of Nanci’s friends, family, and clients–including big name stars such as Reese Witherspoon, Courtney Cox, Emily Rossum and team captain, Renée Zellweger. In this video from the ALS Association, we see the team take part in the ALS Association Golden West Chapter’s Los Angeles Walk to Defeat ALS where the team raised $265,000.
