Neuro/Electric Therapy
Has anyone heard or personally had any Neuro/Electric Therapy for muscle and/or nerve stimulation? I have been approached by a clinic to give it a try. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Sam,
There was an article in the Dec. 28, 2023 ALS News Today titled “muscle strength, life quality” about transcaranial stimulation. It was a summary of a clinical trial that was done in Italy. I am a pALS not a doctor or scientists but, to me it sounded really good. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find anyone in the USA trying to follow up on the clinical trial. I’m still interested so I’d appreciate hearing of anything you’ve uncovered.

Today I started neuro estimulation at home. It is 20 minutes electric estimulation twice a day during 7 days, and see results. It was recommended by a doctor. The name of the device is vielight. You can check it in Internet

@Roman, please post periodic updates. What are you noticing? What are your ALS doctors saying?

Is your headset producing alpha or gamma waves? I use a similar machine when visiting Synergy Healing in Las Vegas. Vielight claims apha best for calming the brain while gamma is best for focus.

The doctor is internal Medicine. I decide to us it because I review the home page of the device and it is used is some diseases including parkinson
