    Where will people with ALS be on the list in terms of getting the coronavirus vaccine?  I have read that health care workers and people in nursing homes will be the first to get it.

    I asked my neurologist at my clinic appointment last Friday, and she said while ALS patients are considered high risk, she had not yet heard as to when we’d be able to get the vaccine.  I wonder too if each state will be able to determine their own process of distribution.

    @ Jim, your doctor said that having ALS magnifies the reaction to a vaccine.  Did he explain the science or biology as to how or why this happens? I’d be curious to know and I think it would be good information for pALS to consider.
