I’m grateful to Dagmar Munn for describing “rollators” a while back. I hadn’t heard the term. I’ve since discovered the ultra-lightweight, carbon-based rollator, made by ByAcre. It weighs 10.6 lbs. I can carry it upstairs with one hand or swing it into the car. It’s very expensive – just under $700 – but it has completely liberated me. (I do NOT recommend the grey bag accessory for the front. It’s stylish looking, but not efficiently designed, and falls off easily.)

My one question is whether this rollator would be effective for a tall or large person. I’m 5’7, 121 lbs, and have the handles at the highest level. I try to use my core to help with my balance and don’t know if someone much bigger would be at risk of tipping. But for some, this might be a good investment.

I previously discovered the red Drive Nitro Euro rollator, which is snazzy and sturdy. (Saw best price through Amazon.)

Hope this info is useful to some!
