What are you watching? Reading? Listening to?
Posted by Dagmar on January 14, 2025 at 11:23 amIn the Northern part of the world, the winter months often find us stuck inside, looking for things to keep ourselves entertained.
What are you watching? Reading? Listening to? Is there anything you’re looking forward to?

The daily news always has my attention – – because we’re still living in a very bumpy world! But, I’m also indulging in Only Murders in the Building (I am only in the 2nd season), and have gone thru all of the Yellowstone series as well as 1924. On YouTube, I follow Cal Newport’s videos on productivity (they are super for kicking off the New Year).

For those of you who have Netflix, the new movie “Here” is a gem to watch!

I watch The Outer Banks and I started watching Lost. After season 2 I lost interest. It started of great, and then it just lost my attention. I think I’m the only person who didn’t watch Lost or The Walking Dead when they were on TV. My mom and I watch General Hospital every week day together.

If you have Amazon Prime, a great and heart-warming movie is “Hearts in Atlantis,” with Anthony Hopkins.
If you like podcasts, “Sherlock Homes Short Stories” are narrated by actor Hugh Bonneville (aka downtown Abbey’s Earl of Grantham). 30-minute installments.

I highly recomend “Unstoppable” a uplifting movie on Amazon. Its about a collegiate wrestler who rose up to the pinnacle despite many life challenges. He was born with 1 leg among other challenges.
Be sure to watch the interviews after the movie….. Enjoy!!!
