Join us in a rousing cheer for Joe Crellin, a U.K. ultramarathon runner whose father has ALS, and to help raise awareness and funds for ALS – – is running up seven Munros — or mountains in Scotland, each with a height over 3,000 feet (about 915 meters) — every day for a week from Aug. 21–27.
Why are we double-proud of Joe? Because Joe’s father, David Crellin, is a member of this forum!
Read the great article that was published today in ALS News Today, that tells us more about this father-son duo, how Joe got involved in the goal of running up mountains, and his challenges to do so while dealing with the knowledge he too has the C9orF72 mutation – – same as his father.
Join us in supporting the Crellin family. Let’s all cheer them on (and help raise ALS awareness by sharing the link to their news article)!
