Access and ALS
I recently listened to a flash briefing about people with disabilities attending concerts and other entertainment events on another forum and it made me wonder about our members. Has anyone contacted a place prior to the show/event to make accommodations? Was the place friendly and helpful? From what some other people have told me there are many places that will go the extra mile and find out what would make a person’s experience more enjoyable if they are made aware of a person’s disability. What have your experiences been like? Do you have any advice or information to share?
