  The local ALS Association Chapter in SWFL has a grant program. pALS can apply for funds to help with expenses associated with ALS. It can be used to make accommodations, pay for medical expenses, or purchase needed equipment. 

  Have you found any resources like this?  Have you applied for assistance? If so, what was the process like and how did it work out for you?
