How Does ALS Awareness Month Effect You?
I recall having a discussion with Dagmar a while back about ALS Awareness Month and it made me see things from a different perspective. I was always of the mindset, the more we talk about ALS, the more we can teach others, the better! Well, for some May could be a difficult month. pALS are already thinking about ALS every day so to have a month highlighting ALS could put some people on overload, understandably. I think Dagmar wrote about this in her column last year — I look for the link.
Does ALS Awareness Month impact you at all, positively or negatively? Does it impact your mood? Are you excited that there is a month dedicated to ALS awareness?
