One of the things I am looking forward to the most after the pandemic is over is the research and studies getting back on track.  It is heartbreaking to know that COVID-19 has negatively impacted every business, but to pALS and their loved ones this is essential and time sensitive work! This pandemic has motivated me even more to get involved and be part of the solution!

What would motivate you to get involved in clinical trials and research?

I am starting platform.  At least I feel like I am doing something, even if I randomize to placebo.  I had my screening visit and am waiting for drug visit in January.

I would volunteer for anything. Problem is I’ve been  symptomatic for over 4 years and diagnosed for more than 3 years and I’m 66 so I don’t qualify.
